Weathernews Inc. has published their "Sustainability Report 2024." This report introduces Weathernews' environmental, social, and governance initiatives based on the four materiality issues that must be addressed in order to realize a sustainable society.

In this second edition of the report, we have updated our human resources strategy to focus on the introduction of a volunteer leave system and the efforts of the Diversity Committee. It also discloses Weathernews' own indicators, such as the increase in the number of sites from which observation data was obtained and the amount of support provided for renewable energy power generation. In addition, in order to adapt to global standards and co-develop with stakeholders, we have newly specified initiatives that we support, such as the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Through this report, we hope that a wide range of stakeholders will be able to see how Weathernews faces and works on ESG.
