The sea is different from land in that there is little infrastructure in place to monitor wind and waves. Like the name says, Seaman’s Eye becomes one more eye for the Captain, and support safe voyage operations for ships. Using common smartphones, Seaman’s Eye captures the state of the sea surface through cameras, and monitors a vessel’s course and hull movements like rolling and pitching so you can see what’s happening at sea in real-time, NOW. The data observed through Seaman’s Eye is applied to maritime weather forecasts and voyage support content for the vessels in your fleet.
